I have noticed that gpodder on Ubuntu 12.04 downloads ogg files from the mp3 feeds. It seems that it doesnt look at the enclosure statement. I realized that something was wrong as I wasnt getting any ubuntu-uk podcast on my mp3 player. Doesnt seem that any of the webserver links are wrong, as i can wget a direct link to a mp3 of your show. Seems to be an error within gpodder. Have you heard this before?
Hi. I noticed that you mentioned switching to another OS in order to use Spotify. Did you know that there’s a Debian/Ubuntu version of Spotify available?
https://www.spotify.com/uk/download/previews/
It’s referred to as a “preview” version, despite having been released almost 4 years ago and received updates since then. It seems to work very well and I wish that they would make it an official version.
