I don't think you should worry too much about users who fail to heed obvious signs (address bar, images, and general look and feel of the site) and carry on regardless. This happens in all walks of life (see Sat Nav example http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1164705/BMW-left-teetering-100ft-cliff-edge-sat-nav-directs-driver-steep-footpath.html) and you just can’t stop them. When you type in a word, it goes to the first link in a google search for that word. Actually I could not figure it out what exactly is the algorithm, but it seems to do this sometimes. I've used several Ubuntu distros (Eft, Fawn, Gibbon, Koala) but have never upgraded from one release to another.
